hi, remember me?

I’m your friendly Oxford blogger. Last you heard, our fam was headed back to the USA on vay-kay. That was nearly four weeks ago. And I’ve hardly been part of the main since.

What have we been up to for four weeks?

We’ve been meeting our new family members

. . .and loving our old ones.

We’ve been swimming, shopping, playing, and fishing.

We’ve had camp fires and boat rides.

We’ve picked ripe berries and vegetables in burgeoning gardens. (One for me, one for the basket, one for me, one more for me . . .)

Norah raced a minnow.

We’ve been eating ice cream by the pint and using the grill like ovens don’t exist. We’ve soaked in the hot summer sun until everyone but Harriet has a tan and the cooler breezes of Oxford sound refreshing. It has been very good.

hey dear…I can’t wait to hear all about your trip, to celebrate your trip with you…and to sympathize with the pain of leaving all your beloved friends and family. When do you arrive back in Oxford?

Looks like you are having a great time!! I love that first picture of you. Can’t wait to hear all about your trip. The Oxford weather is holding strong at 68 just for you, although rain is in the forecast for Monday night. Praying for you as you say goodbye (always the worst part!) and for your journey home.
