a tour of the flat

So we are waiting for our ship to come in. Literally. As often as I’ve heard that said, I’ve never experienced actually waiting for a ship until now. For the rest of my life, this phrase will have poignant meaning.

Meanwhile, we live in an empty flat. Today we created a tour of said flat, posted on YouTube for those interested. I need to also post a disclaimer–friends, we are not professionals. There is a reason why neither Alex or myself were called to a career in television!

Oh, Bets! Your flat is much bigger and nicer (especially the kitchen!) than what I was expecting- the pictures we looked at online together didn’t do your flat justice!

You will make it into a beautiful home in no time!

I’m still trying to figure out how y’all filmed this, though. You each must have given a tour and then spliced the clips together, I’m guessing?

love it! glad to see you have plenty of room for us to visit!!!

I really wish I was there with you! Lovely little flat and I”m so glad you have joined me in referring to the “toilet” as “the loo” – I’ve been doing it for years. Sounds so much more sophisticated or something…love you guys!!

    • I agree, Liz. Something about asking for the toilet–just feels too obvious or something, like asking “Can I go empty my bladder on your premises?” Come visit and you can use our “loo” anytime!
